We welcome personal visits and would be pleased to give you and/or your family members a tour of our beautiful, comfortable community. We can also discuss your specific questions about fees and provide a plan that works within your budget.

Requirements for joining our community include:
Age: The minimum age for residency is 60 years.

Health: For our independent living apartments, prospective residents must be in good physical health, ambulatory, mentally competent, alert, socially compatible, able to live independently, and handle their own financial affairs. For our assisted living apartments, prospective residents typically need assistance with activities of daily living such as medication administration, dining services, activities and social services. They may be physically challenged and may suffer from mild to moderate dementia.

Financial requirements: Prospective residents must have funds to adequately provide for medical, personal and other expenses. You must have enough assets and income to pay your admission fee and/or monthly fees during your residency at The Kenney.

Application procedure: The application procedure varies by level of care. Please see the Director of Marketing & Public Relations for information relating to residency in all areas of the community.

Waiting list: Once the Admission Team accepts your application, you’ll pay a non-refundable waiting list deposit of $1,000 and will be placed on the waiting list for the apartment of your choice. This is not required for residency in Lincoln Vista Assisted Living or the Nursing & Rehab Center. We will stay in close contact with you regarding your position on the waiting list and the availability of apartments.

We are pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the Nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.
