“Alone we can do so little,
together we can do so much.”
– Helen Keller
We – The Kenney community and you – are an unstoppable force! Together, we feel the joy of giving to our seniors. We’re energized by the spirit and generosity of our community and of lives enriched by love, engagement, and caring human connection.
Since the incorporation of The Kenney in 1901, ours is a story of investing to provide a “comfortable and safe home” for multiple generations of residents. That investment has been made possible through the generosity of people who saw the need and responded from the heart. As we envision the investments needed for the next generations, we hope that you will see your opportunity to participate.

“People move in and live such a great lifestyle that they end up living longer than they expected — what a wonderful gift! We want our friends to be able to continue living here even after they have outlived their financial resources. That’s why we support The Resident Care Fund.”
– Ron Hanson, former Foundation Board Treasurer
Leave a Legacy
Planned gifts, such as beneficiary designations on a life insurance policy or 401(k) plan or remembrances in your will or charitable remainder trust, are another way to help The Kenney while creating a legacy for you. Planned gifts may offer tax savings and, in some cases, may even result in increased income. Contact us today for more information.
Your gifts go to The Kenney, a non-profit organization and West Seattle’s only Continuing Care Retirement Community, where seniors are offered an enriched quality of life no matter their age, health, mental, or physical condition. The Kenney is committed to providing cutting edge, evidence-based life enrichment activities and care. Brighten your day knowing life is good at 62, 82 or 102 years young for seniors at The Kenney!
The Kenney and The Kenney Foundation are private, nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organizations. Your gift to The Kenney Foundation is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
